Introduction to Indigenous Cultural Safety & Humility
- Discuss the “why” and the need for Indigenous Cultural Safety and Reconciliation in Canada
- Identify organizational strategies for reconciliation and cultural safety
History & Culture of Coast Salish People and Lands
- Explore the rich history of the Sto:lo people and traditional territories
Putting it All Together – Open Dialogue on Reconciliation and Indigenous Relations
Join us for a 2 hour in depth session on September 20, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm facilitated by Len Pierre.
Len Pierre is the owner and founder of Len Pierre Consulting which now has national and international contracts in Canada and the United States. Len is Coast Salish from Katzie First Nation and specializes in the development of educational programs and services; as well as Indigenous knowledge systems and community engagement. With a background in adult education and Indigenous methodology, Len aims to decolonize and transform corporate systems, approaches, policies, and curriculum content in any professional discipline.
